Great game where the colourfull bouncing paintblob needs to destroy the dictator by colouring the black and white world.
De Blob began as a dream. Some students in The Netherlands created a funny looking game, and suddenly the Australian developer THQ saw the demo version of De Blob and bought the rights to game immediately. And they did not want to make some kind of budget title. De Blob is one of the best games produced outside the Nintendo factories.
The Game
A vicious black dictator rules in Blob's world. He has forbidden every colour in the country and replaced it with black ink. It's now up to the resistance, with de bouncing Blob as their leader, to colour the world again and destroy the regime. De Blob itself is a big round well.... Blob that can take any colour and will mix colours by itself. During your missions you will have to colour almost every part of the cities you are in by simply bouncing to it. But there are some missions within the levels (for instance, colour all builings around a square orange) that have to be solved to gain entrance to the next levels. Also you will find lot's of black police with paintguns that will try to catch you. The controls can be quite tricky in some situations but overall you just find your way with the nunchuck and jump by moving the Wiimote.
