Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 Hot

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1

This rushed game stay unnessecary close to the movie. But the gameplay is bad and contains nothing more than wii mote waving and button pushing.

  • New concept for the Harry Potter game series
  • Familiar characters and settings
  • Shooting magic is no more than obsessive waving and pusing buttons
  • Walking from one scripted point to another
  • Overall gameplay is flawed
For Kids? : Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1 can be played from about 10 years onward, but the gameplay is not something that can be enjoyed. Kids will walk away from it because there are many better games.

Harry Potter now takes on Dementors and Death Eaters in this third person shooter.

In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, players will be on the run, fighting for survival on a desperate and dangerous quest to locate and destroy Voldemort's Horcruxes, engaging with Death Eaters and Snatchers in epic battle sequences at every turn.

To amplify the action, players will encounter ferocious creatures from the previous films in addition to the adversaries Harry faces in the seventh film. They will need to muster their most powerful magic against relentless assaults from all sides. There are no more lessons, no more training. This time the danger is real. It's time for players to fight for their lives.

It was a bold decision to move away from the walk around adventure style of the earlier Harry Potter games, and we can only applaud the producers for that. A third person shooter and a war like setting and lots of magic should work great on the Wii. It is a huge deception to see that it simply did not work in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1. You move from one to another scripted event and have to wave your wiimote frantically and push the buttons obsessively. And well.... that's about it. Yes you will see many familiar settings and characters from the movie, but the graphics are so poor that there is no joy here at all. Luckily there are two almost perfect games for the Harry Potter world: Lego Harry Potter!
