Walk around Hogwarts and use your Wii-mote as a wand.

  • Walk around freely in Hogwarts
  • Very bad controls when doing magic
  • Tasks can be tedious
  • Castle is very empty
For Kids? : Yes, for Harry Potter fans of about 8 and older, this can be a nice game. But you should have a lot of patience with the controls and the younger might need some help with the tasks.

Walk around Hogwarts and use your Wii-mote as a wand.

In Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry returns for his fifth year of study at Hogwarts and discovers that much of the wizarding community is in denial about the teenager's recent encounter with the evil Lord Voldemort. The Minister for Magic has decided to teach courses in defensive magic, but this leaves the young wizards woefully unprepared to defend themselves against the dark forces threatening them. Meeting secretly with a small group of students who name themselves "Dumbledore's Army", Harry has taken it upon himself to teach them how to defend themselves against the Dark Arts, preparing the courageous young wizards for the extraordinary battle that lies ahead.

With the ability to play multiple characters (including Harry Potter, Dumbledore and Sirius Black) this Harry Potter videogame offers fans the opportunity to wield a wand, explore all around Hogwarts, and experience one of the most exciting and dangerous years in the life of the Boy Who Lived.

This could have been a great game, for the first time you should be able to walk around Hogwarts. But it's the same as almost all movie games: the games lacks detail and seems rushed. Worst point of all is the controls in this Wii version. Sometimes you simple can't perform a trick and fighting is usually more wildly waving around then accurate magic. And although you can walk around, the whole atmostphere seems barren and there is little to explore. If you are a fan of Harry Potter games and you also have another console at home, just go for the PS3 version.
