Monster Hunter Tri squizes every last bit out of the Wii and presents a stunningly beautiful game. And all this effort to let it look briljant has hindered the quality of the game at all. You are hunting, fighting and killing naturally looking prehistoric beasts in this action role playing game. Leave all the rubbish games in the budget section and save up for Monster Hunter Tri, it is worth every single penny.

First things first, this game requires a lot of strategy to master, which is the main reason you'll either enjoy or frustrate yourself during gameplay. However, when you killed an enormous monster, you feel you actually achieved something. You need to kill many different types of monsters to get items to build/upgrade armory and weapons. This is actually extremely addictive and getting just the right weapon may be a priority in this game. You have the option to use the wii/nunchuck combo or the classic controller. Although the classic controller is recommended, I personally enjoyed playing with the nunchuck, since it felt like where I aimed the remote actually mattered, but that's just me. The game is seperated into offline and online mods. While you can spend PLENTY of time in offline mode, if you choose to go online, you'll find many new shops, quests, and social interaction systems while teaming up with up to three other players and improving your hunter rank. If you don't have Wi-Fi, there's always two-player arena in which you and a friend can take down monsters that can be unlocked by capturing them in offline mode. You can also unlock videos in your gallery and unlock personal awards and complete "villager quests." This truckload of content can have you addicted for 300-400+ hours. Few other games can actually have you spend that much time in gaming.
